Location. The Hilton Checkers is a European style boutique hotel located in downtown Los Angeles, Calif., in the city’s business and financial district. The hotel, whose historic building dates back to the 1920s, stands eight blocks from Staples Center, the Nokia Theater and the Los Angeles Convention Center. Griffith Observatory, Mann’s Chinese Theatre and Hollywood are positioned less than seven miles from this hotel.
Hotel Features. California fusion cuisine with distinctive European, American and Asian influences is featured at the hotel’s Checkers Restaurant. The new Napa Valley inspired menu offers smoked salmon crepes with dill crème fraiche, baby lamb chops with fresh mint sauce and fresh mozzarella and tomato crostinis. Checkers Lounge provides assorted cocktails and appetizers. The Hilton Checkers showcases a spa offering massages, body wraps, facials and massage treatments.
