Where Is It Located?
The Stratosphere is a 24-story Hotel and Tower located on the northern tip of the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is conveniently located near The Strip Trolley and the Las Vegas Monorail. The Stratosphere also houses an 80,000 sq ft casino and 1149 ft Observation Tower with the Tower shops and thrill rides.
The Sky Is The Limit
The Stratosphere offers thrill seekers a chance to tour some of the most daring rides in Las Vegas. The Big Shot shoots passengers 160 feet into the air at speeds over 45 mph, bringing its riders 1,081 feet into the Las Vegas skyline. X-Scream is a massive teeter-totter that thrusts you 27 feet to the edge of the Tower and 866 feet above the ground. Last, but not least, is the ride called Insanity, with its mammoth mechanical arm that dangles you 64 feet over the edge of the Tower and spins you with the force of 3G’s. If you’re looking for a blood rushing experience, The Observation Tower at the Stratosphere is certainly the place to find it.
Dinner And Dancing
For award-winning food, Top of the World is the restaurant of choice at the Stratosphere. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees for panoramic views of Las Vegas and sits more than 800 feet into the skyline. After an amazing dinner, you can dance the night away at Polly Esther’s. From the best of the disco era, the glamorous 80’s, the edgy 90’s, or the hottest hits of today, Polly Esther’s accommodates all types of dance and music genres.
Shop Around The World
The Tower Shops at the Stratosphere present shoppers with a vast variety of clothing, accessories, shoes, and souvenir stores for all budgets. The mall itself is cleverly designed to mimic the streets of Paris, Hong Kong, and New York City giving you the feeling of shopping around the world. The Tower Shops also offer several choices of eateries to subside your hunger cravings.
Convenience Is Key
The Stratosphere Hotel is only five miles away from the McCarran International Airport, and just a mile and half away from the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Concierge staff will be more than willing to help accommodate you with transportation, show and dinner reservations, and thrill attraction tickets during your stay at the hotel.

THe accomadations were nothing pecial. The bell-man that helprd us to our room, gave u misinformation about almost everything, he recommended a diner in the hotel that had been closed for weeks and not cheduled to reopen until 3 weeks after our departure. He told us about all our “freebies” which in fact were not free at all. We had to “fight” with Hotel management to just get up the tower, which is suppose to be free amenity to ALL guests. Our tay was for 5 days and 4 nights. I give this hotel a two only becaue we saw American Superstars and it was phenomenal. If not for that show I would have rated this hotel <1. Did I mention my Ipod was stolen from my room? I would not recommend this hotel nor would I tay there again.
